Peter’s practice focuses on representing individuals in the areas of family law, guardianship, probate, estate planning, and general litigation.  Peter has represented clients all over the Puget Sound, including Pierce, King, Thurston, Kitsap, Snohomish, and Skagit Counties.

Peter has represented hundreds of civilian and military parents in all manner of domestic relations, including divorce, child custody, paternity, child support, third-party custody, non-parental custody, and relocation. Peter takes pride in creative solutions to resolve domestic relations cases in a way that minimizes conflict, preserves resources, and keeps families focused on the best interests of their children.  

Peter’s practice includes litigating and resolving court-created guardianships for vulnerable members of our society, whether disabled, injured, or elderly.  Peter is often called upon by the court to represent vulnerable individuals in guardianship proceedings. Peter especially enjoys helping families with children who need assistance making personal and financial decisions for them as they transition into adulthood.  

Peter was raised in Fairwood Greens, attended Kentridge High School (Go Chargers!!) and graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in Cell and Molecular Biology.  After discovering a passion for the law, Peter graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, and returned to Washington to begin his law practice.

Peter is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, and the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association, and was a past chair of the TPCBA Guardianship section. Peter is certified as a court-appointed guardian ad litem in RCW Title 11 (probate/guardianship/trust) cases

In his spare time, Peter is an avid car enthusiast, a shade-tree oenophile (wine lover), and loves to read. But most of Peter’s free time is spent being the proud father of his two beautiful children!
